After talking to a co-worker this morning about politics, I decided everyone should think like us. We weren’t discussing whether the Democrats or Republicans were right or wrong. We weren’t deciding if Trump is a good President or not. Discussions on social media, reporters, and news were our primary topics.
Per the Constitution, the people voted and picked a President. Instead of the Democrats, Republicans, and half the U.S. being in an uproar, get behind him. At that point it doesn’t really matter if you agree with him or not, support him. If the government would stop arguing with each other and trying to impeach the last few to work together the world would be so much better. Congress would actually accomplish something.
Now I’m not saying I agree with everything the President has done/is doing. But if there was a news station that reported BOTH sides of every story and not merely report what their followers desire to hear, that would be brilliant! If social media was only used for good and not complaints on absolutely everything under the sun, fantastic! If people would choose to support others and build them up instead of tearing each other down. If everyone would think of someone else instead of themselves maybe we would have less bullying and mass shootings. If everyone was kind every day, that would generate an unbelievable change in the world.
Be a good example for our children. Spread happy vibes. Hold the door open for someone. Smile at people walking by. Tell someone to have a good day. Share your kindness every day, even if it’s a small gesture.
